Thinking ahead about the holidays

While our 4th-Thursday scheme dodges most conflicts, we collided head-
on with the holidays last year. Looking back at the list archives I
can see that we did have a lightly-attended November meeting. We also
managed to schedule a mid-December meeting but then got snowed out.

We can't beat the snow (unless Markus gets the Weathertron running on
1.9) but perhaps if we start thinking about this now we can make the
meeting time work better for those people going out of town for the
holidays, etc.? Seems like a problem we'll have every year.

Thoughts?

I thought is was last thursdays. There's a 5th one this month.
