DOT meeting ?

There is an electric DOT sign on Chaffee Rd near Normandy (north bound)
announcing a public meeting at Chaffee Trails Elementary School on
Monday, January
31, at 6:30 pm. I plan on going and I hope as many of you will make an
effort. I had contacted Sarah Lane in Daniel Davis' office to set up a
meeting for February
and she explained that Mr Davis was too busy in Tallahassee to commit to
a date. I decided that we could still meet without his attendance and
asked her for some names and phone #'s to organize our next meeting.
She informed me that she didn't work for the City anymore and couldn't
be of any help. I am in the process of
setting up a meeting at the Library to include the city department
representatives from past meetings and the FDOT. We have some unanswered
questions from our last meeting and Mr Joyce, from the city, has given
us some information on Traffic Calming that we should look into. I
forwarded that information to this email address back in November. Let
me know if you have any questions.
I'm not sure what the meeting is about that will be held at the
school, but I would encourage everyone to attend to keep up with current
events.

FYI - The meeting at Chaffee Trails Elem is a followup meeting to one held about 6 mo ago.  The DOT is looking into 4-laning Chaffee Road from Crystal Springs to Normandy.  They are seeking public input.
