Burning of brush

The following was provided to my wife on the burning of the brush:

In order to burn at the site they must apply for a burn permit and post it at the site. It is bright orange and easy to see. To get a burn permit they must meet the setback requirements of 1000ft for any occupied building and 100ft from the road, and only burn brush generated on site.  Once they have the permit, if we issue one.  They must call us in the morning on any day they wish to burn. Also they can only burn from 9:00AM to 1 hour before sunset and have equipment to put it out on site. There also cannot be excessive smoke.

According to the above it doesn't appear they will be able to burn south of Rails to Trails because there are houses within 1000ft of the roadway.  We have an asthmatic child and will be calling if there is excessive smoke.
