According to Kariotis, he is still working on recouping his losses from the
Skara Grill.
"It cost me over $600,000," said Kariotis. "I've opened 10 other
businesses in Boston. They were all successful. I can say this is my
first failure. I hope it is my last one."

Skara Grill in West Roxbury Has Closed
A Greek restaurant in the West Roxbury neighborhood of Boston that had been
open for a little more than a year has closed its doors.
According to Universal Hub, Skara Grill on Centre Street has shut down,
with a note out front thanking customers for their support. The restaurant,
which had been open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, featured such
items as spanakopita, stuffed grape leaves, grilled octopus, roasted
eggplant and garlic, baked lamb, pork kababs, and moussaka.
