We hope you're having a good summer! Here's an update on our advocacy and ways for you to get involved.
1) Petition to demonstrate support for Centre Street safety improvements
Along with West Rox Bikes, we created a petition to help demonstrate support for the Centre Street plan proposed by the Boston Transportation Department. Please sign our petition and feel free to share far and wide via email and on social media! Our goal is 500 signatures and we need your help to get there!

2) Next West Rox Walks Meeting is Wednesday, September 18 from 7-8:30 PM at the Roche Family Community Center (basement meeting room)

4) We continue to reach out to elected officials to build support for making a #SaferCentreSt
We've met with Councilor Matt O'Malley and Representative Ed Coppinger (edward.c...@mahouse.gov, (617) 722-2080) and are scheduling a meeting with Senator Mike Rush (mike...@masenate.gov, (617) 722-1348) in September. Please share your support of the plan with Representative Coppinger and Senator Rush by emailing them or calling their office (information above). We also emailed BTD an update from our July open meeting to share the great turnout we had and the support for their plan.
5) We are looking for volunteers to help with meeting attendance, website development, and more.
