"Black & Gold" is the theme for The Gryphon's "MetAle Festival" Part II.

Featuring no less than 18 Ales on at once, from all over the country, this is another festival not to be missed.

Picked for having the words "Black" or "Gold" in the title, the festival will be showcasing some of the best dark ales and the tastiest golden ales from near and far. Everyone's happy!

Stouts, Porters, Milds, Bitters, and Pale ales.

26 Ales are scheduled to come in. 20 breweries have not been at The Gryphon before. A few more ales may be appear over the weekend.

Linton Music and Ale Festival (Near Ross on Wye) is small and worth a look:

Real Ales include Butcombe Bitter, Black Pear (Malvern Hills Brewery) and JHB, with two, three and sometimes four other ales as well. The guest beers, selected by way of popular demand, tend to be drawn from the smaller and relatively local breweries
