Please see below for an Urgent Message from our Local Newton Food Pantry.

We  need you.

 

As you know, due to circumstances beyond our control, our country  is facing an immediate Hunger Crisis. 

 

City Hall has asked me along with Don Gentile to coordinate one of Newton's temporary Food Pantry locations.  Commander of the Post 440, Don Gentile has kindly volunteered a perfect space at the Post 440 Newton, 295 California St., Newton, MA 02458 (Nonantum).

 

Phase one is collecting NON perishable foods. This will take place on Wednesday, November 5th, from 12:00 - 5:30 PM, at the Post 440 building ramp entry.  Look for a note on the door. 

 

 Phase two.  After all the donations are in, we will evaluate and determine a distribution time.  We are hopeful the day and time for phase two will be accomplished on Friday November 7th.   

 

We are asking you to help by dropping off your non-perishable donation during this time of crisis.
