Heads up on noise near Franklin next Wednesday 12/17

FYI for anyone not on the Franklin School abutters notification list who may be affected or just curious, we got the message below from Building Commissioner Josh Morse about 18 hours of concrete pouring next Wednesday. The sound of progress!

I wanted to give you a heads up that we have a single long day and night of work to complete concrete pours on the 3^rd and 2^nd floors of the new Franklin School. These concrete pours need to be done continuously for several engineering reasons. The work will happen on Wednesday, December 17^th and it will begin at 6am and it will not end until 12am. This is the only evolution for the entire project that will require hours such as this. The team will do everything in their power to keep things as quiet as possible, but there will be some unavoidable noise. If they can finish early, they absolutely will. The crews certainly don't want to work any later than they have to, to complete the pours.
