Dear West Newton Peeps:

A lot of people have asked me about Judith's Kitchen on the corner of Washington Street and Elm Street in West Newton Square.  Just today, there was a sign in the window indicating that it is opening soon!  You can follow Judith's Kitchen on Twitter at https://twitter.com/Judiths_Kitchenor visit the website at www.judiths-kitchen.com for more details.

Constantine Place on the corner of Elm Street and Border Street is also coming along.  Most of the structure is up and it looks like it will be a really handsome addition to West Newton Square.  I attach a recent photo that I took this morning.

Finally, please be sure to come on down to the Farmer's Market on Elm Street every Saturday between 10AM and 2PM for fresh, locally grown produce, cold drinks, wine, meat, fish, frozen desserts and other tasty treats.  There is also generally musical entertainment and booths for various community organizations.  Be sure to bring your own bag(s) for your purchases!

Please also note that this year, Farmers Markets Week is August 2-8. During that week the Newton Farmers Market will have a taste off challenge between the official City of Newton Cookie vs the State of Massachusetts Cookie.....can anyone guess what those cookies are?  Support our local farmers.
