Please see this video from Channel 7 regarding a Cambridge intersection.    This makes me concerned about the road diet slated first for the stretch between Lowell Avenue and W. Newton Corner and possibly other parts of Washington St.

The proposed Washington Street pilot puts the multi-use path on the pike side to avoid conflicts with turning vehicles and greatly reduce the possibility of a vehicle improperly turning into the path.
