Thank you to all who responded to my question about good oral surgeons.  Here's who was recommended across two local listservs*:

- Colette said he's the best!
- I can say from personal experience that Ken MacAfee is absolutely top-notch. Superb oral surgeon and really nice person.

6). Try Gentle dental they are a lot cheaper!

* In the end I chose Dr. Sacks.  Seemed great at the pre-op consultation, fingers crossed for the wisdom tooth extraction to come!
