Greeting Friends and Neighbors!

NewtonSERVES is an annual city-wide day of community service. Residents throughout the city come together to enhance many well loved centers of community life through volunteer activities such as gardening, painting, litter clean up and more. Join us in making Newton stronger by volunteering with us.

The annual Wellington Park Wakeup brings together neighbors in the Wellington Park neighborhood to weed, garden, remove invasives, mulch and more. Your help is needed to make Wellington Park the special neighborhood park that it is. Please consider joining us. No experience necessary.

For those not familiar with our park, Wellington Park is a small 2 acre park located on Kilburn Road between River, Cherry, Derby and Waltham Streets.

Sunday, May 3, 1:00 - 4:00.

If you have garden tools - pruners, gloves, wheelbarrows, shovels, etc, please bring them, if you don’t we have some to share.
