Our third annual Grow Native Plant Sale is only a few days away! We will have more than 1,500 plants to sell, representing 115 species, including grasses, perennials, ferns, shrubs and trees. Our full species list is below.
Cash, check, and credit cards will be accepted. We encourage you to bring cash or checks to help us keep the check-out line moving. Proceeds from the sale support our programs. Thank you!
We have an especially good selection of small trees and shrubs this year. Remember that native trees and shrubs do the most to enhance the wildlife value of your landscapes. Be sure to add numerous native trees and shrubs into your gardens if you want to support birds and butterflies!
What is “Native” in our sale? We emphasize species that are native to Massachusetts, New England, and the Mid-Atlantic region. We also include just a very few species native to the eastern United States for which the native range is slightly beyond this core area, especially if we believe they have good ecological value.
Are you also looking for vegetable or herb seedlings? Stop by the Waltham Fields Community Farm Seedling Sale, at the same time and place.

We also have two millstone Rosa planters that will be offered via a ticketed drawing at the sale. These sturdy 18 gallon planters (24" x 15") are highly durable and don't need to be brought inside in the winter.
They won't chip or crack, and are resistant to damage from moisture and temperature. Perfect for adding some color and foliage to a patio, driveway, or front walk. Seize the opportunity to take these great planters home! |
