Hi there --

FWIW I phoned this morning, there was an hour wait, so I asked for a call back.

I just got the call back and it was quite quick. I had actually looked up the invoice for our heat pump, just in case, but they didn't ask me for anything other than to confirm my address/contact info.

Well I had a different result to my phone call to Eversource attempting to sign up for this program.

The (incredibly helpful and thorough) person at customer service said there was no mechanism for signing up for the program yet. He sent this link on the eversource site about the program, but they have no way to enroll us.

What he said that our rate code said 'R1 non-heating', and updated the account to 'R1 heating'. He thought that if all went well, we would 'automatically' (as their memo sez) be set to be enrolled in the seasonal heat pump rate- 'tho by no means a certainty.

So Susan, do you think this is what happened in your case? Or are you confident that your customer service person was able to actually enroll you in this program?

Thanks,
miles
