Hi everyone,

If you missed last night's community meeting on NewCAL, the video is already up. Next meeting will be Sept. 23.

BTW, I was happy to hear Josh Morse mention in passing that NewCAL is a bad name (it was always the project name, and there will be a new one. I can't wait!

And after yesterday's car-in-the-brook flooding on Albemarle Road, we can all celebrate that the misguided original plan to locate it there was abandoned! (Like the previous misguided plan to cut down all the trees from Gath to Crafts on the east side of the street to put up solar carports. Cutting down trees in a flood zone!!)

We had a very exciting NewCAL community meeting last night. Many of you joined us, rolled up your sleeves, and helped us shape the design. This project is quite literally a community effort, and I am positive that this collaborative process will yield the best possible project in the end.
