Seeking referral for periodontist

I am in need of a good periodontist for a second opinion. Please let me know if you have been seen by someone you would recommend.

I've been happy with Dr. Serge Dibart in Newton Centre. My dentist recommended I see a periodontist a few years ago, and since then I've been getting cleanings from Dr. Dibart in between my regular dentist cleanings. So dentist at six-month intervals, and periodontist at six-month intervals in between the dentist ones.

He only is there on Fridays, though. I think he teaches the other days.

Hi Ann,     Dr. Indira Dragan is phenomenal in every way:  top-notch in technical skills, communication, and empathy; and a respected and adored professor in her field. 

The only downside is that her clinic, The Perio Studio, is right off Gov't Center (on Tremont), so it's a schlep from Newton and parking isn't free.

I second jrosenof's opinion.  Been going to Dr. Koo in Wellesley for years (before that Dr. Howieson at same practice before he retired).  Bonus: easy parking and right off Route 16 :-)
