I don't know of this particular company, but there are many stories of shady (pun intended) solar companies doing door-to-door sales, giving the industry a bad reputation.
I recommend checking out
energysage.com, a national group that vets different companies, and recommends ones in your area. They don't charge customers a fee, and they get you several quotes from legit local companies. You fill out their questionnaire and they get bids specifically for your house (which you can make adjustments to). They also give you info on local rebates and such.
We went thru them to find a good solar installer, and when we & installer had a small problem with a tree, energysage helped mediate it. Their folks are heplful & very knowledgeable.
