There is a welcoming atmosphere at the the new and improved WOW! which is  located at
1359 Washington  Street, in  West Newton Square, which  boasts state of the art cardio equipment, small group training and group exercise classes. Strength equipment  and machines are located on the second floor (there is an elevator).
Beautiful women's and men's locker rooms with saunas are located on the lower level.
It's quite an improvement!

thanks, Phyllis, that is good to know.

Do you have any sense of whether and what Covid protocols they are following?

Asking because at the Waltham location the answer was "none."  Each time I tried it there (I'm a member) I felt uncomfortable. It was as if Covid didn't exist.  No masks, not even on staff members much less clients; no indication of any ventilation upgrades; no requirements for social distancing or extra hygiene like equipment wipe-downs or hand sanitizers; not even a sign posted acknowledging there was a pandemic going on.    I've been hoping the Newton location might oblige them to be more Covid-aware.

Thanks for any insight you or others can provide.

Michelle

Latest testing stats are sobering. Even allowing for self-selection bias of who chooses to get tested. After all, there'd always be some of that.
