Solid Waste Services has suspended collection due to the cold weather.  We are B week in the curbside recycling schedule, so (unless severe weather again next week) we can bring our blue recycling carts to the curb on the usual pick-up day, Thurs. Feb. 26.  See more details below.

Crews will resume collection on Tuesday, February 24, following the normal schedule.  B Week recycling customers should set out their blue carts.  Yard waste collection is suspended through March 3 so that crews can concentrate on collecting garbage and recycling.     A Week recycling customers are asked to hold their blue carts until their next regularly scheduled collection date.  We anticipate overflow of both garbage and recycling carts because of delayed collection.  Solid Waste Services crews will collect any extra material set out next to the carts.  We will not issue citations or fines for containers left out after the regular collection day this week, or for extra material set out next to the carts, until collection services return to normal. We recognize the inconvenience caused by these changes.  We appreciate your cooperation as we try to provide safe and efficient waste collection under unusually challenging weather conditions.
