I used wine to download the pc version of origin on my mac, the reason being that I wasn't able to play the fifa demo on the mac version. It has been taking FOREVER to download fifa 14. Right now, it has been nearly two days since I began the download and only 34.88 MB/ 1.89 GB has been downloaded (about 1%). What can I do to speed up the download so it takes at most a day? At this rate, it'll be three months before the download will finish.
