Hi Folks:
Here are a couple of tips ;one is courtesy of the latest issue of APC
Magazine, the other of
AAPT .
1) If you use Gmail as an e-mail account, they have an additional
security item that you can
enable. when you login ,goto "settings" at the right hand side of the
page , and scroll down to the bottom of the page , check "always use
https " click on save changes.
Incidentally, Gmail also informs you of previous accessesto your
account at the bottom of the main page. if the IP shown is not yours,
your login details may already have been discovered,so you should
quickly change your password and log in again.
2) AAPT will never e-mail you re: your account or anything to do with
it. They will send you a letter requesting whatever information they
require.
I received an email ,supposedly from my ISP, AAPT and before I acted
on it ,I rang AAPT. They denied sending that e-mail ,They had me
forward the email to their hoax site.THis email was from my AAPT
webmail box.
See you all Monday night.
