10Gb of free space

10Gb hard drive
Vector Linux - for general use on computers running at 500MHz to 1GHz
(great for that superceded machine)

- to keep Windows - defrag the hard drive and free at least 6Gb of
hard disk space
- Linux-only - back up your data, 6Gb hard drive

your computer at all, just to check that everything will work OK and

If you want to keep Windows on the machine (ie a dual-boot machine -
you choose at boot-up whether to go into Windows or Linux) you will
need to have enough space on the hard drive and a fresh defrag.
2. Bring the whole machine including the box, monitor, keyboard, mouse
and if you are really keen, the printer.
All installs and software are at no cost to you.
