Relics

I decided to run for Public Relations Chairman. I took over last year with the approval of the Board of Directors. This will be my first election.

I struggled most of last season in the position and only got a few banners. I am doing better this year with the help of both Steve Lepow & Darell Weldon. We have at least 9 renewals and I did convince Taco Tuesdays to take a banner, well she asked so I think that counts.

I am in the process of sending out letters to businesses asking them to join the banner program. To date I have sent out letters to businesses in Ludlow, Chicopee, Wilbraham and Indian Orchard. I expect to send out letters to businesses in other towns this week.

I am not really a sales guy. I have the mouth for it but that is about it.

That being said I believe it is appropriate that another candidate step forward. Not because I don't want the job, but since this is a democracy, I should not run unopposed. If I lose so be it, but I want to win & ask for your vote.
