Let me give you  a little background concerning the Grille at the Wilbraham Country Club. I sent out a slew of letters to local businesses asking them to buy a banner. I got a call from a woman Karen Ravioli from the Grille, she wanted to get a banner. It is one of the best designed banners hanging in a prime position on the left field fence.

We thought it would be nice to give a supporter some business. Other locations came up but why give them business if they don’t support us. During our discussions about the Christmas party Karen’s 56 year old husband passed away. She advised me that she was leaving the Grille for several reasons including caring for her elderly mother. We had decided on a figure, but as one of Karen’s last acts at the Grille she gave us a better deal.

So here we are. We have 14 Relics and their wives that signed up. I don’t get you guys. We are brothers. We willingly stand up for each other and cover each other’s backs. Please support each other support the league and where are you going to have a nice dinner, costing then $52. And as a bonus you get to hang with your friends during the jolly merry season.

Are we asking too much to get another 70 people to sign up. With wives it’s the equivalent of three teams -  35 guys. And by the way you can come stag.
