Legends get a thrilling victory over Desperados

I want to congratulate Steve Lepow all the Legends and in particular Dan Fredette and Jose Rodriguez on their victory today.  The Desperados led from the get go and at the start of the bottom of the 7th the Desperados were up 10-9. The Desperados got the first 2 outs. The Legends down to their last at bat pulled out a victory from the jaws of defeat. Dan hit a high fly down the right field line and scampered to 3rd. Then Jose got up and you knew the score would at least be tied. Jose hit a ball to right center and with his first step out of the box you knew 1 of 2 things were going to happen either he would beat the ball or be out at home. Most players would have been satisfied with a double. But the guy didn’t stop I figured he would stop at third but he had other plans and in a very close play at the plate the Legends turned defeat into victory. It was tough to congratulate them after the game but it’s a little bit easier now. Congratulations Steve and the Legends. Jose you are in a class by yourself.
