MA Senior - 5 Relics teams

Relics

The MA Senior Games are upon us. Several Relics have broken their balls to organize this and make it a success. We have more teams and players in the games than any other league.

I have previously asked for your help. The hope is these games will help the league get some publicity. 

Is it that difficult to donate your time this weekend to volunteer to help?

 A group of Relics and a member from another team went out to Blunt Park several months ago, including a guy from another league, who played in Blunt park as a kid. They made no

 recommendation for a temporary fence. Then we got some whiners complaining about having to chase balls forever without a fence. Then a leader of Eastern Mass said we were

 amateurish for not having a fence. I got pissed and have tried everything to get a fence. 

So, I ask who has poultry fencing or some kind of mesh materials to help make a fence. Please donate it. 

Tim Teehan went to Lowe’s and was quoted $34 a roll of poultry fence 4 feet by 5 feet a roll. 

If any of you have it, it would really help us if you could donate a roll. We plan a raffle and maybe can raise funds to pay for it, after one of us kicks for 400.

Again, volunteers at doing the book, helping run the raffle etc that would help. A volunteer sign-up sheet was previously put up on the message board.

We have a good chance at success. I just hope we do not fail.
