Supper to help Chicopee soldier

On 3/8/09, US Army Sergeant First Class Kevin Dupont, a 29 year
service member and a Chicopee native, was traveling in a convoy of
vehicles near Khost, Afghanistan. Kevin's Humvee was struck by an
Improvised Explosive Device. One soldier riding with Kevin was
killed. Kevin and another Sergeant were trapped in the flaming
wreckage of the Humvee. Kevin suffered severe burns and was flown
directly to the US Army Burn Center in San Antonio, Texas. Kevin has
3rd degree burns over 65% of his body and is in the fight of his
life.

On Sunday, May 31, at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Granby Road in
Chicopee, there will be a spaghetti supper from 3-6 pm to raise funds
for Kevin and his wife Lisa. Tickets are $15 for adults, $7.50 for
kids 5-12 and kids under 5 eat free. If you need further info, please
