Springfield, April 22. 2009 – Sister companies, Comcast and Global
Spectrum, the management company for the MassMutual Center, are coming
together to participate in Comcast Cares Day on Saturday, April 25th.
Employees and their family members will be volunteering their time to
help revitalize the Springfield Boys and Girls Club. Revitalizing
projects will include painting portions of the facility and baseball
diamond.

Since the first Comcast Cares Day took place in 2001, 170,000
volunteers have devoted over 1 million hours of service to communities
across the country. Today, 50,000 additional volunteers donated
another 300,000 hours of service at more than 500 projects in 39
states and the District of Columbia, bringing the total service hours
during all Comcast Cares Days to more than 1.3 million. Comcast Cares
Day is one way that Comcast helps to power dreams and demonstrate a
year-round commitment to making a difference in the communities it
serves.

“The Comcast-Spectator group focuses a great deal of attention on
giving back to the local communities they call home” says Global
Spectrum’s Matt Hollander, the General Manager of the MassMutual
Center. “Comcast Cares Day is one great example of how our partnership
surpasses business and extends into the community.”

Massachusetts Convention Center Authority. Global Spectrum is the
