The Massachusetts Latino Chamber receives national recognition from
the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for their Business,
Banking Website, Robotics and Solar Power Seminar for Youth.

Twenty young business leaders will receive certificates of completion
for their final project as they unveil their website, business,
ecommerce, solar or robotic project after participating in the week
long business seminar.
 
The youth were introduced to basic skills of business, banking, e-
commerce, technology, robotics and solar power and making good
leadership decisions.  “Our goal is to spark an interest in business
opportunities that will close the Technology and financial literacy
gap between Hispanic and non-Hispanic youth in Massachusetts.” stated
Carlos Gonzalez, President.
 
Ed Diaz, Region V Chairperson of the United States Chamber of Commerce
Board of Director’s will present the Massachusetts Latino Chamber of
Commerce with a national spotlight award for the successful youth
empowerment through business program.  Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
President’s and Executive Director’s  from the North East will be in
attendance for the ceremonies and press conference.
