Drop out hearings

The state legislative Dropout Prevention and Recovery Commission will
hold a public hearing on drop out prevention and recovery in
Springfield, MA.  The Commission is developing recommendations on 10
policy items related to dropout reduction. This list can be found at
the link below and also in the informational/tip sheet attached.  It
is imperative that we show our support!


 


Hearing: Tuesday, April 28th, 6:00-7:30pm at the High School of
Science & Technology, Springfield, MA. 


 


Please be sure to mark your calendar for this important date below! 
We also need your help to encourage parents, students, school
administrators and community members at large to testify at this
hearing.  


  


  If you testify, it would be most effective to address one, or two of
those items.  


 


A good turnout would be a strong statement of your interest in this
issue, so please join us!  Be sure to include young people, parents
and family members!
