April 17, 2009 - Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, Finance Control Board
Executive Director Stephen P. Lisauskas, and CitiStat Director Paul
Foster will hold a press conference at Springfield City Hall, on
Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at 10:15 a.m., in City Council Chambers to
provide a progress report on CitiStat Springfield.
The Mission of CitiStat Springfield is to achieve accountability,
efficiency, and results through data-driven strategic planning,
implementation, and management. Since launching regular departmental
review meetings at the end of January 2008, CityStat has convened 180
meetings: 161 Departmental reviews, 11 inter-departmental
NeighborhoodStat meetings, three citywide meetings on sick leave,
three meetings focused on trash collection, and one meeting each on
lead paint and poising and citywide worker’s compensation.
