John Dowland Anniversary Free Workshop and Masterclasses
Dear friends and patrons
As part of our John Dowland Anniversary Festival, we will present a workshop and masterclasses that are FREE to the public. Eleven wonderful local singers will take a deep dive into the songs of John Dowland, exploring them in both their solo and ensemble format, accompanied by lute and viola da gamba. Scroll down for the schedule of these events taking place on 13 and 14 February at St Andrews Presbyterian Church.
These classes will cumulate in the concert taking place on 20 February, entitled "Concert 1: Diving into Dowland" for which you can book on here: https://qkt.io/Vw8QWh.
The masterclass participants will also join the Lutesong Consort for an ensemble arrangement of arguably Dowland's most famous song, "Flow my tears" at "Concert 2: From heart to tongue" on 21 February, for which you need to book here: https://qkt.io/0cADPC
We look forward to celebrating with you!
Kind regards
Lente and Uwe
PS...and don't forget to join as at 1:15 this Thursday at St George's cathedral for a free concert of Cupid's Arrow!
