Hi All

Just to let you know I have decided to cancel the Interclub this year. I would aappreciate if you could convey this message to your members.

We should probable get together later in the year to see if we can do something to mark the 100th edition of the event next year.

Regards

Darren

Hi All

I'm just working throught the arrangements for the 19th. Would you please give me indicative numbers of how many entrants you have for the Interclub.Currently I have 8 entries from TCC.

I could also do with a couple of marshals if you know anyone who can help out. I currently have 4 volunteers but could do with 2 more to provide coverage. Bruce, I know the Hounslow will be tied up with your own event, so understand if you have no one spare.

Thanks

Darren

Dear All,

Don Ashton has kindly submitted the Police Notification forms for The INTER CLUB   25 mile TT starting at 08:00 on Sunday 19th of May 2024.
I will collect Hounslow & District Wheeler entries and send a bulk entry to Darren by the 10th of May. Could Westerley  & Weybridge do the same?

Ann, do I remember correctly that Westerley used the 'fishery' cafe (on North Street) at a previous event on West of Windsor?
If that is the case, please would you be able to let Darren know who to contact there?

Look forward to the 99th anniversary edition.

Bruce McMichael
Race Secretary
Hounslow & District Wheelers.

Hi All,

First of all  - Thank you Bruce for making the application to hold the Interclub TT (99th year) on Sunday 19th May 2024, with a start time 08.01am

While we await confirmation of the event, can I please ask club representatives to promote the event to your members. The closing date for entries will Friday 10th May, to give me the weekend to work out the start sheet. Please remember to provide me with the rider's fastest TT innformation for handicapping.

I assume we will want to use the fishery as HQ and social gathering afterwards. Is anyone in contact with the fishery owner or have contact information so I can make the arrangements?

Regards

Hi Darren,

Good to hear from you.  This year's date should be Sunday19th of May.

I am told by my press secretary that 2024 is the 99th anniversary of the original interclub.  We did run an event last year on 25th of June following a roadworks problem on 21/05/2023,  but sadly only got 3 entries.

My running order (below) would put Twickenham down for 2024, then Weybridge for 2025.  If  we speak nicely to Don Ashton at lwdc there should be time to complete the  police notification forms for May.

I am organising a 100 mile race on 26th of May at Farnham, but please let me know if you wish to proceed on 19-05-2024, or if I can help I will speak to Don as I am on the lwdc committee?

Speak soon Bruce

Hi Bruce

I hope all is well with you.

I just wanted to check if you had any information on the Interclub time trial this year. Aware it's usually held in May, do you have the date?

Regards

Darren
