2025 subs

I'm am bit late this year, but Happy New Year to all members!

2025 subs are now due. Despite the reduction in subs last year and the Club making a contribution to the costs of the fabulous centenary dinner, we only had a small deficit and our finances remain healthy. Therefore subs are remaining at just £10 for all types of members (racing / social, first / second claim) - other than juniors (free).  If you like, you can set up an annual subscription payment via paypal by clicking the button on this page on our website: https://www.westerley.cc/joining-westerley/ .  If you pay your subs using it, it will automatically renew every year until you cancel it - which you can do at any time.  Alternatively bank transfer also works: (Sort code 30-80-88 / Account number 27772160). Apologies if you are a life member, have already renewed, or joined later than August last year hence don't need to pay for 2025 - I'm just sending this to everyone as an update.  

We are running a similar event programme to last year, with the rearranged Winter Warmer this Sunday, Hillingdon in the Spring/Summer and club rides and offline rides through the year.  There are a couple of new events including a second hill climb and a 25 using the fast section of the Hillingdon circuit.  

There are also some changes planned to how we award our trophies which I hope will make things a bit clearer and more relevant to the pattern of riding we have nowadays while also fitting with both the heritage of the club.  Details to be finalised at the AGM. Please do join the AGM Zoom call on the evening of 13 Feb if you can make it to give your views on that and other matters of importance to the club (Full details to follow).

Finally, I still have a 100th anniversary jersey which was never collected - would anyone like to claim it, while it is still in date?

Hi Frank,

I really enjoyed the Winter Warmer and sorry for the delay in replying.  I have paid subs for 2025.  I hope that this year I will be able to join you on some rides.  I am not a strong cyclist but I would like to improve so if it is possible to do so, I may try and join part of a ride if it is coming near to me.
