Note on events and activities comong

Hi All,

 

Beyond the normal weekly Group rides on Sundays, Virtual Reality races on Mondays and Wednesdays (organised by Will and Ian and where we are doing really well again!), and Hillingdon Wednesdays, we have a number of “extraordinary” events which reflect the accessible, active club we’ve got, AND the Centenary this year. 

 

I’ve done a list below of these events and the longer rides which I know people are doing. There are probably many more.

 

Big events/ specials

• Wednesday 19th June - Sociable 10@Hillingdon track with drinks and nibbles afterwards
• Sunday 15th September Summer sizzler - 60, 100, 160km more information https://www.westerley.cc/summer-sizzler-2024/
• Saturday 16th November. Centenary dinner. Partners welcome. Drayton Court Hotel. £30-£40 with a club contribution. Information coming soon, but save the date.
• Sunday 22nd December Centenary ride to Chobham (our ancestral home). 75/80km and a pub lunch

June

July

• 19/7 Friday. Isle of Wight raid. 7am from Waterloo for an island loop with Andy 

 

August

• 16/8 Friday. 200km London/Oxford/London with Andy
• 24/8 Saturday. Old roads audax with Rob Courtney

September

• 6/9 Friday. Up to 200km Summer Sizzler route check. Early start.

 

October

• 16/10 Club Hillclimb at Longdown

Im not a nember of the club goigle or whatsapp groups or spreadsheets.

How do I get access & can I sign up for the TT on 19th (which will be vv slow as I am still rehabing post leg surgery)

What is the link to the TT spreadsheet & can I enter this weds ie tomorrow? I will be on the road bike trying out my leg & fitness post crash surgery?

The entries for the TTs are done via riderHQ, if you want to ride then enter the next one and we can move you. Please let me know directly and I'll move you over.

Ive put my name down for tomorrow & the next 2 but am away for the first one in july.

I take it you mean put my name on the spreadsheet but enter the next one on riderHQ ie 3/7 that I cant make but you will swap me over instead to tomorrow??
