Westerley Cycle Club Centenary Dinner

The Westerley Cycle Club Centenary Dinner will take place on the evening of Saturday 16^th November 2024 at:

The Drayton Court Hotel

2 The Avenue

Ealing

W13 8PH

The evening will include a 3 course dinner and the Annual Awards Presentation

The cost is £25 per person, which includes a subsidy from club funds.

To book a place please enter your details on the Westerley Club Dinner 2024 spreadsheet and pay. The link to the spreadsheet is:

The venue has a maximum capacity of 50 people, so booking you place early is strongly recommended!

If anyone wishes to stay at the hotel they will do a deal. Find the cheapest price the various booking websites, contact the hotel direct, say you are attending the Westerley dinner and they will give you a discount on the cheapest price you could find.

All 50 spaces on the centenary dinner have been filled. I have added a reserve list to the spreadsheet. If anyone who has booked a space on the dinner drops out, their space will be offered to the 1^st reserve etc.

Anyone putting themselves on the reserve list - please do not pay.

Anyone who has booked a place and has not paid - please do so ASAP!

We are booked as a function so there will be a limited menu (from memory I think it is a choice of 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 desserts). Those attending will need to say what their menu choices are in advance. We will circulate the menu and how to let us know what your choices are well in advance.

For those going to the Centenary Dinner:

The meal choices have been added to the spreadsheet, so can everyone attending please click on the link and mark their choices for Starters, Mains and Dessert in the row next to their name. PB is Plant Based (Vegan) and V is vegetarian . If you have any dietary requirements not catered for please contact me direct with details. The Drayton have asked to be sent the meal choices a couple of weeks in advance, so can you update the spreadsheet by the end of October.

Some still have not paid. If you have not paid by the end of October you risk loosing your place!

A reminder for those who are attending the Centenary Dinner and have 1. not paid or 2. have not put their dinner choices on the spreadsheet - please do so this week!

The events manager at the Drayton Court says they will (somehow) accommodate the extra 3 people on the reserve list, so I have moved Alan Gough, Rob Courtney and John Sullivan onto the bookings sheet. Alan / Rob / John - Please pay and make your meal choices this week.

If you have any special dietary requirements please let me know (or note it on the spreadsheet). So far the main request seems to be for custard rather than ice-cream so I have asked if this can be accommodated!

The rough plan for the evening will be to assemble in the bar by 7PM, move into our function room around 7.30 and the 1^st course will be served around 7.45.
