Laytonville Ecovillage in Mendocino is offering two internship tracks this season:

(1) General—Launching an Ecovillage

(2) MBA Students—New Economy/Sustainable Business Models Internship
The Internships run from Spring through Fall of 2016. We are an emerging, permaculture-inspired green community three hours north of the Bay Area. The ecovillage internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in many aspects of sustainable community development, from applied permaculture, natural building, ordinary tasks that are required of all homesteads, and research topics of your choice. Internships can be focused on single themes or blended to suit your interests.

Interning involves 25 hours of work a week in exchange for living on ten acres of beautiful Mendocino County land. You will be sharing the land with the residents of the Laytonville Ecovillage. The size of the community will depend on the number of work traders and interns as well as the number of students who participate in weekend workshops and work parties.

Interns will need to be self-directed and be able to work with minimal supervision.
