WCPE meeting 2023 ??

Good afternoon,

 I hope this message finds every one of you doing well and staying safe.

We have not had a social meeting since 2014! Therefore,  I am reaching out today to see if any of you are interested in getting together this year. Pacific Marine Expo has moved to an earlier date in November and will not include Saturday this year. Pacific Marine Expo | Commercial Marine Trade Show

 I propose meeting on Thursday November 9^th in the afternoon but could easily be swayed to the 8^th or 10^th.

 If you have any interest in attending an event, I would appreciate hearing from you by the end of this week (8/11/23).

Simply let me know your preferred date and how many people would be attending from your team. If we have more than a dozen people,  I’ll get something organized.

Appreciate all the responses and interest. We are around 20 people attending. 

Date will be November 9th. Throwing out the idea of a half day of meeting, leaving the other half to attend the Expo. 

Do you have any topics of interest you would like to discuss or learn more about?

Thanks for doing this, it about time we did this again. We won’t get much done in half a day but it’s a start.  If we need a space, we can look into getting something at our place on Alaskan Way but that will take some planning.  Please add Tim LaRose (Foss NorCal PE) and Colette Lowe (Foss SoCal- Eng Manager) along with Sergiy Bondarenko (Saltchuk Marine Technical Director) to the new members list. Also add Steve Britton (Foss Director of Engineering) who has taken Tim Stewarts place at Foss.

As info- Tim Stewart and Steve Caldwell have retired and are likely not going to participate any longer. John Barrett has recently passed so as a founding member we should recognize him this time around.

Signet doesn’t get out your way that often, but we appreciate the involvement from the Gulf, and we keep pretending we are West Coasters.
