we'll let you know about next week August 6th as soon as possible

Quote of the Week:

How fast are we moving?

Even if you're sitting in a chair right now, you're in motion in many
ways. First the Earth is rotating on its axis. Depending on your
location, your tangential velocity could be up to 1000 mph. In
addition, the Earth revolves around the sun at 67,000 mph. Our solar
system sits in an arm of the Milky Way, which rotates at a speed of
around 500,000 mph, and our local cluster of galaxies is hurling
toward the Andromeda galaxy at around 290,000 mph. As if that weren't
enough, we're being drawn at a rate of 1,300,000 mph toward an
enormous supercluster, the Great Attractor, which lies 250 million
light years away. Oh, and one more thing: we're expanding along with
the rest of the universe as well.

With all that movement going on, how fast do you think it will take
the Westchester Jazz Jam relocates back to somewhere more centrally
located in the county?
