Without us supporting her as the 1st Hindu running for President, future candidates will ignore the Hindu American community. A strong show of support will put Hindus on the national political scene and issues we are concerned about will more likely be on the agenda of candidates now and in the future. Tulsi has received the highest rating of any member of Congress from the Hindu American Political Action Committee. She needs our support more than ever as anti-Hindu propaganda is trying to connect Tulsi with fascism, bigotry, and hate - propaganda by the same anti-Hindu forces that work against the good work of Hindu organizations in this country.

How much can someone contribute? Each individual may contribute $5400 total toward the primary & general elections. If Tulsi does not run for the general election, $2700 will be returned as that can only be set aside for use after the primary. Collecting the full $5400 now is better as it shows strength & the operation is more efficient as you don’t have to go back to someone. So a couple may contribute $10,800. Adult children 18 or over may also contribute. If a couple only wants to give $5400 at this time, have the contribution split $2700 per person. The campaign will automatically split the amount allocated if both names are on a check - if not, that needs to be conveyed to Sunil. A separate credit card transaction should be made for each individual contributing, using a credit card account that is tied to payments from that person or couple.
Who can contribute? Legal US residents and citizens may contribute.
Can businesses & PACs contribute? Tulsi does not take PAC money. Businesses and corporations are not allowed to contribute except LLCs taxed as partnerships and LLC member is making the contribution.
