February "Membership Drive" Meeting

Hello everyone!

Elizabeth had made a suggestion, and I think it's a great one, that this month's meeting should be a "Membership Drive" meeting. We are asking that each of you bring an artist friend to our meeting for a casual meet and greet. This will hopefully add to our roster and help spread the word about our group. Here are some reminders for the meeting:

* Bring an artist friend who might want to check the group out.

* Bring a new piece of your work for an informal critique. Could be something you want feedback on, have a problem with, or just want to share.

* Bring a dish to share - we'll do a light potluck for the evening. REPLY ALL with what you will bring!

* Bring $25 for your annual dues if you have not done that already.

* Send me upcoming events you want mentioned, along with ideas for field trips. We'd like to showcase our upcoming year for the visitors, and for current members.

Hi- I'll bring dip with veggies.

This Thursday night at Citrus Park Theater is a movie on Goya, his life and work. Fathom Events is a great website, www.fathomevents.com, for one-night only shows on artists, musicians, opera, ballet, rock concerts, old movies etc. I've seen a few of these shows and the quality is fabulous. Check it out for something a little different.

Reminder:

Our "Membership Drive" Meeting is coming up Feb. 23. So far this is what we have in the way of food:

Terry - fruit salad

Christa - buffalo chicken dip

Jenn - fudge


Please reply all with what you will bring. We still need someone to bring plates/napkins and plasticware, and water/sodas.
