Upcoming Meeting

This Tuesday, January 28, 2014, we will be holding our annual meeting at 7PM in the conference room of the Upper Tampa Bay Library. This is a very important meeting so your attendance is strongly encouraged. We will be registering for the coming year and paying our $25 dues, as well as electing new officers for the 2014 Board. New registration forms will be available at the meeting. Please make your check for dues payable to the Westchase Artists Society.

Attached please find a PDF of the minutes from our November meeting for your review. Please let me know if there are any corrections that need to be made.

Attached also is a PDF of our group Bylaws for your review. They contain detailed information about the responsibilities and privileges of membership as well as the duties of the Board and the various committees.

At Tuesday's meeting we will be holding elections for a new Board of Directors. I hope you will give serious consideration to running for a position on the new Board. Susan Whitaker and myself are stepping down this year. (I will be available to aid in the transition to new officers and will assist them in any way that I can.) Jennifer Joyner is willing to run again for the position of Vice President. If you are willing to be considered for an office or if you would like to nominate someone to serve, please send me an email before the meeting. Volunteers will also be needed for the committees which will assist the Board in planning meetings and other activities. (Please refer to the Bylaws for more detailed descriptions to help you decide which committee you would like to be on.)

Please RSVP to this message and let me know 1) if you will be attending and 2) if you are interested in running for a position on the Board or would like to nominate someone.
