Hello everyone!
Here are a few updates for you:
1. I need everyone's payment of
$40 at least by the next meeting on November 27th. You are also welcome to
mail it to me sooner or put it in my mailbox. My address is 10317
Greenhedges Dr. Tampa, FL 33626. So far, Judy & Liz have paid
me. Harv's is on the way, so I need checks from Teresa, Dean, Rena,
Amy, Linita, Vanessa, Susan, & Donna.
2. Please use your fliers to
advertise in the area you live. If you frequent a bagel place, ask to hang
one in their window and leave some on the counter. Think dentists offices,
restaurants, dry cleaners, grocery stores, UPS, all over!!!
Keep track of the places you leave fliers. The person
who hangs/leaves the most fliers will win a prize at our
next meeting!!!
3. We are having trouble booking enough music. If anyone knows live
bands or acts who would like to perform in exchangefor advertising, please let
me know!
4. I am going to pick up raffle
tickets this week for our raffles. One raffle will be an autographed
ball by Bucs player Ronde Barber. The other will be a half-year of dance
lessons at New Tampa Dance Theatre, along with 4 tickets to their production of
the Nutcracker in December. Tickets will be $5 each, or 4 for
$18. All proceeds from the raffles will go to Autism Speaks. I will
be leaving an envelope on my front door starting Friday with raffle tickets
inside. Please feel free to grab some and sell these BEFORE the Market
starts. You may give your tickets and money to me at our next
meeting. Again, whoever sells the most raffle tickets by the next meeting
will win a prize!
