Here are some additional community resources for social/recreational programs in the Metrowest area.    See below for dates and contact information. 
AIM HIGH

Aim High is an archery program for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders or related social communication disorders. Participants will be taught by skilled archery instructors and supported by experts in the autism field. Visual supports will be utilized to enhance an individual’s experience. The goal of this program is to provide individuals with the tools to obtain a lifelong skill in recreation with no barriers. Core content will be safety, technique and self improvement. This group is open to participants of ALL abilities. Groups will be formed based on ages and abilities.

Rock On!

 

Rock On! Is an outdoor ropes course and rock climbing class for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related social communication deficits. Participants will develop positive recreation skills, increase muscle tone and motor skills, develop trust and relationships, increase self esteem and promote independence and wellness in a safe and nurturing environment. All participants will be instructed by experts in outdoor recreation and supported by skilled professionals in the area of Autism. This group is for ALL abilities. Groups will be formed based on ages and abilities.

DATES:  April 7, 21, and 28; May 5 and 19.; June 2.    6 weeks 1.25 hour sessions
