Good morning,

 

We've attached the flyer for our upcoming Best Start West Athens Brown Bag Learning Sessions series.  Our next series will be Advocacy training.  The series is FREE, transportation and childcare are provided if needed.  The series includes 6 classes that will meet from 9am - 2pm each Monday in February and March (except for Holidays). Please see the attached flyer for additional details and join us for fun, learning and sharing. Please RSVP with Mark Naegle as indicated on the attached flyer so that we have enough space, food and materials for everyone.  Please note, you must reserve your space by Thursday, January 25, 2018 as space is limited.  The following topics will be discussed during the training series:  

 

•Session 1: Leadership and Knowing your community

•Session 2: The Logic Model and how to create the budget of a project

•Session 3: Coalitions and community mobilization

•Session 4: Conflict Resolution, The Legislative Process and Community Action

•Session 5: The role of the promoter in generating changes for the welfare of the community

•Session 6: Your success and that of your project
