JUNIOR HUNTING CAMP / TRAINING
We offer a 7 day hunting training camp for junior hunters. During the camp the following topic will be covered:
1. Ethics of a Good hunter.
2. Hunting and Conservation in Africa.
3. Species and shot placement - Plains and Dangerous
4. Basic's of Ballistics's and hunting rifle care and safety.
5. Stalking, tracking and how to walk in the Africa Savannah.
6. Bore sighting, telescope and some practical shooting.
7. Field preparation and skinning.
8. Building a fire, Safety and food preparation.
9. Local birds, trees, insects and snakes.
Each junior will have the opportunity to hunt his own animal and be part of the skinning and will prepare, tasted his own animal.
COSTING: 1200 EURO or which will include:
All meals
All transportation
Photo's
No-trophy male Impala but parents have the option to upgrade to any plains game trophy.
Study material
Rifles and ammo (.22 and 30 06)
Washing and cleaning services
Trackers and skinners
Certificate
Parents / adults can also attend at a cost of 1500 EURO
The next camp will be in September 2012. We only take groups of 4 min and 15 max.
Base camp on international standards.
We work with the kids from the moment the wake up till they go to bed....campfire stories and very important information are shared by 3 matured and experienced PH's. The main idea is to provide the young hunter with as much possible information and teach them were to find answers on future questions.
