WeTeach_CS honors exceptional educators with Change Maker and Mini-Grant awards, recognizing their outstanding contributions to advancing computer science education across Texas. Award recipients will be recognized at the 2026 WeTeach_CS Summit. Established in 2016, these annual awards are presented to dedicated CS teachers and administrators who bring innovative strategies to their classrooms and serve as leaders for expanded CS opportunities in their schools and districts.

Change Maker Awards ($750) recognize teachers, counselors, and administrators who are driving CS education forward in their schools and communities. Nominate a teacher or administrator today! Yes, you can nominate yourself.

Mini-Grants (up to $5,000) support innovative classroom projects and programs that enhance K-12 computer science learning. Awardees are teachers with fantastic ideas to improve teaching and learning in the classroom. Nominate a deserving Mini Grant winner today! As with the change makers, yes, you can nominate yourself.

📆 Applications for both awards close April 1, 2026.

Thanks,

— Damian
