Hello,

I'm excited to announce that STEM Girl Day at UT Austin is just around the corner! This year, we will be hosting STEM Girl Day on Saturday, February 22, 2025, and I wanted to share this information with you and your community.
In case you're not familiar with STEM Girl Day, it's an annual event hosted by Women in STEM (WiSTEM) at UT Austin. Our goal is to inspire K-8th graders to explore the exciting world of STEM through grade-appropriate, hands-on activities. These activities are led by scientists, engineers, astronomers, mathematicians, and other STEM enthusiasts from various student organizations, research centers, corporate partners, and community organizations. We welcome participants of all genders!
Parents, teachers, guardians, and other chaperones can register their students for the event, https://girlday.utexas.edu/k-8th-grade-registration. I've attached both the Spanish and English flyers for your convenience. For more information and updates, you can visit our website at https://girlday.utexas.edu/.

We're excited to see you at STEM Girl Day!

Sincerely,

Andrea Herrera Moreno
