Join the Texas CS Leadership Network for the first meeting of the 2025-2026 school year on September 17, 2025, from noon-1:30pm! Our main topic will be the Technology Applications TEKS Guide presented by TEA’s Statewide STEM
Coordinator, Michelle Sedberry.
The Technology
Applications TEKS Guide provides educators across the state with a common understanding of the technology applications standards, including a deep dive into each standard, vertical alignments, and cross-curricular
connections with core and enrichment content areas. This session will explain all of the TEKS Guide components, how to navigate the website, and how to use this guide to support classroom instruction.
Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss the bi-monthly subject in-depth in small groups as well as get insights into a Texas district innovative spotlight.
Participation is limited to CS leaders on campuses, districts, and education service centers along with Texas institutions of higher education leaders in the CS Education space interested in building the K-12 CS pipeline.
