Has been discussed in some circles for about 8 years. It's about time
it happened.
I do know of one entity that could host both the required storage
space as well as the space for gathering and training.
Probably would be less expensive than something totally built from the
ground up.

Yeah, it just seems to make sense, especially with tightening budgets.

That's been an initial thought when I've discussed it with a few people.  It might be something that starts off at an existing facility (such as a university, college, or training center) and then as interest grows and sustainable funding and cash flow are achieved, it moves into it's own facility.  I have a potentially great existing facility that's vacant and has been for a few years.  Some in San Angelo will know it as the former Howard College building.  I say "potentially great" because it's been quite a while since I've been in there.  I have both the sale and lease price on it, but to house it in there would likely require an already established full training schedule and committed customers.  Others may disagree about that building, but it was one of the first ones that sprung to mind when I was picturing the idea.

Thanks,
Jeremy
